Two manuscripts from the saga...

Two manuscripts from the Mutant Worlds saga have been in the works for several months:

The first is the direct sequel to SolAs, and the second is another adventure in the ongoing saga.

In the sequel to the science fiction novel “SolAs,” we will discover what happens to Maylis, Ahdon, and their companions. In the jungle, they will have to fight against the Machiavellian forces hiding on Earth and the occult system that secretly governs them. Will they discover the traps that await them and be able to avoid them, despite the forces of darkness that are hunting them down? This manuscript should be published by the end of 2026, if everything goes according to plan.

Excerpts from the prologue:

Maylis Lhan's personal journal: I should have thanked the gods for their kindness towards us, but a vague premonition warned me that nothing was guaranteed.”

"Maylis had left the underground base in Saskatoon to travel to the heart of the Tree's territory, whose proximity soothed the miasma of an ethereal fear within her; despite the weeks that had passed, this fear permeated her thoughts despite all her efforts to push it away. The Mother Tree and the forest had grown stronger; their marbling and vindictive gashes no longer affected them. Niels alone had to avoid them and use cunning to prevent them from harassing him."

Pour le second, il s'agira d'un préquel de "La passion de l'Arachnee", notamment, qui se situe juste avant la période des grands essaimages des populations mutantes sur les colonies stellaires, gérées par la gouvernance terrienne.

Excerpts from the prologue:

An unconventional perspective: DNA is one indicator of a person's constitution, but it is only one among many. An individual who is aware of their own strengths will use their genomic chains, like piano keys on a keyboard, to advance those that will activate what they need to fulfill their life's mission.”

Lying on an examination table, Anghel wondered about the meaning of the “mandatory” tests she was undergoing at that moment. In the hands of two Alchemists, of whom she could often only make out the profile or the back, she was feeling rather uneasy. Hands were placed on her flesh, fingers palpated her, in order to determine what made her, perhaps, one of those Deviants whose proliferation was worrying the government bigwigs."

See you soon, dear readers,

May the future be kind to you!
